Convert FIT to TCX when a training platform or older activity importer asks for Training Center XML instead of Garmin FIT. Add a .fit or .fit.gz activity and download a TCX copy that can be used by compatible training software. The conversion stays in your browser, so the original activity file is not sent to a server and no account is needed.
TCX can carry a timestamped activity track and sensor information such as heart rate and cadence; power is included when it is available and supported in the source data. FIT files may also contain device-specific fields or details that TCX does not represent, so keep the original if you need a complete archive. What this format is
TrainingPeaks and some Garmin imports still want TCX. This is the FIT file rewritten as Training Center XML on this device.

Why TCX instead of GPX?
Some training platforms still import TCX more reliably for heart rate and laps. Use GPX for maps.
Is power copied?
Yes, when the FIT had it. It lands in the TCX activity extension.
File size limit?
None from us. Nothing is uploaded, so a long ride is fine.
Will TrainingPeaks accept it?
That is the usual reason people convert. Import the download as a new workout.
