Why change the device?
Some platforms treat files differently by manufacturer, or hide an activity from a device you no longer use.
Does the activity data change?
No. Only manufacturer and product on file_id.
Will Strava show the new name?
Strava often keeps the device name from their first import. A new upload may still show their own mapping.
